Time to Worship Together - Thursday, March 1st, 2007

"Come, let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture
and the sheep of His hand."
~ Psalm 95:7

Asthe Lord continues to revealHimself in and throughout the planning and preparation of The Dallas Revival, it is fair to say that in order for this 40-day tent revival totake off~ the body of Christ in Dallas must come together and worship the Lord as one. We must set aside our differences, whether that be our color of skin, our preference of denomination, and/or our comfortable locations. Let usbow down before Him in awe with no "walls" separating us. Let us kneel before the Creator with no "issues" at hand.What a beautiful picture! Imagine the Southern Baptists, the mega churches, the Hispanic churches, the small house churches coming together topraise God for 40 days, where our focus is on Him, and not onour differences.

In Psalm 95, issays that"He is our God," and we are His people.Therefore, by His grace, we are allowed to come before the Lord and worship Him as His people.So let's not waste this opportunityto worship the Lord.Let's not delay our worship and adoration for the Lord. The psalmist wrote that TODAY IS THE DAY to worship the Lord. Yet, too many times our hearts have become hardened. Our hearts have become calloused, and we lose the perspective of who God is in our daily lives. The Israelites did just this forforty years, andGod loathedanentire generation for it.Why? Because they resisted the Lord's role in their lives. Let's stop testing the Lord, and starting trusting in Him. This is myprayer. Then, as we place ourtrust in the Lord, we will recognize thefreedom we have been given to come together and worship Him as the body of Christ.
