Praise God, everybody! - Friday, May 18th, 2007

“Praise God, everybody! Applaud God, all people! His love has taken over our lives; God’s faithful ways are eternal. Hallelujah!”

Today is a day of celebration. It is the 40th day. And thankfully, God has allowed the body of Christ to come together for the past 40 days under one tent, located at 4005 Gaston Avenue. What a blessing! I am not sure if words can describe all that I am processing and feeling at this very moment. Except that I am so grateful for His sustaining grace and mercy in my life. I know that at times, I have been weak and struggled, and there have been other days where I have been strong and passionate for the Lord. Regardless of the ups and the downs, I feel as I have been able to praise the Lord amidst each and every day. God is such a good God.

And my prayer is that tonight, we can come together and PRAISE GOD for this 40th day! Let us “speak well” of Him. Let us “excitedly be boastful about” Him. Let us ALL be unified as one, and “applaud God.” The psalmist specifically wrote in Psalm 117, “Praise God, everybody! Applaud God, all people! His love has taken over our lives; God’s faithful ways are eternal. Hallelujah!”

He has done so much for us at the Dallas Revival, that I am so thankful. Lives have been changed. People are turning to the Lord. God has graciously allowed us to get to this point of celebration. He has been so faithful to each one of us throughout this process of revival. Let us rejoice. Let us praise the Lord!!
