Tell the Testimonies - Thursday, March 8th, 2007 

"But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done."
~ Psalm 78:4 

God has His hand all over this 40-day tent revival!  His presence is felt in meeting after meeting.  I walk away each time thinking in awe, "How did this meeting even come about?"  Even when I begin to lose faith, God continues to guide and direct my steps. Look at the life of the Israelites.  Despite their wrongdoings time and time again, the Lord never left them.  I PRAISE His name for His stronghold in this the preparation for the tent-revival.  I PRAISE His name for all the "wondrous works that He has done."   

Just as the psalmist wrote in Psalm 78, we too must remember all that He has done in our lives, and PRAISE Him.  I feel that I must tell others of the daily, powerful testimonies that glorify His name. For these ongoing testimonies are how people will recognize this 40-day tent revival is of God and not of  man.   Because one thing is for sure, no man could have compiled this specific group of individuals to speak during the evening services.  I stand back in amazement.  Whether it was a phone call from a man of God connected with the Hispanic culture, to an encouraging conversation with a fellow believer down the street, to an individual who has a heart for the homeless...the Lord is bringing the body of Christ together for one reason ~ to call upon His name and praise Him.  Please hear my prayer request for today - let us not forget what the Lord has done, and let us intentionally speak to others of His goodness and faithfulness in our lives.
